LONDON, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Manchester United on Thursday confirmed the signing of Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax in a deal worth 39 million pounds (51 million US dollars).
The 23-year-old, who has previously been linked to interest from Spanish giants, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, has agreed a contract until June 2025. He will travel to Manchester to join his new teammates after the Netherlands' UEFA Nations League game against Italy on September 7.
Photos of Bale in the stands in those games showed the forward looking bored and willing to show that boredom by appearing to be half asleep at times, knowing he would not play.
"We have to own the questions of leadership, we have to own the questions of policy, and there's a lot to be discussed here on that in the future. It's heartbreaking," CNN quoted the owner of the Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) as saying.
"The final climb wasn't too hard, it was difficult to make a gap there, and therefore attacking would have been a huge effort for a small gain. So we rode steady to save energy for the coming days," Yates said.
"I have to explain my philosophy to my players, but it is not possible without playing football. This is a key issue that needs to be taken into consideration," Skocic said.
Valter, 22, broke free during the final few kilometers and the peloton was unable to catch him.
A product of the Ajax youth academy, Van de Beek made his first-team debut in 2015. In total, he played 175 official matches for Ajax, scoring 41 times.
"My team was fantastic during the whole race. Today I felt very good, my legs were really good, until the attack I could ride easily. Also, I was very motivated. Many people supported me along the roads, and I want to thank everyone," Valter said after the race.
The academy, named after one of the country's most famous coaches, is solely responsible for the highest available coaching license.
The victory sends Garcia into the third round, equaling her best US Open result after finishing at that stage every year from 2016 to 2018.
